On March 13, the students of the INSCAE mobilized to clean the surroundings of 67ha.

At the initiative of the association IDEA or Inscae Development Association, and according to their objective of personal development, development of INSCAE and development of the country, this citizen action is only the first among many future projects.

There is a world outside filled with possibilities, for everyone, regardless of what you started with, and what you want to become. I studied here, at INSCAE until I graduated with a Master’s degree and took my first steps in my career as an accountant. Eventually, I questioned my future steps, how I could help my country, myself and get off the beaten track. Those were the years where my interest grew for Financial Distress and the contribution that I could make to tackle this matter in Madagascar.

For this purpose, I applied to the Chevening Scholarships: a full-ride scholarship, the best type of scholarship that one could dream of, but it was more than that. I was offered to study in the United Kingdom: land of the most cutting-edge research, an inexhaustible source of academic resources, inspiring lectures or modules no matter what you choose to study, and an extensive network of alumni whether scholars or students. I studied in England and graduated with a Master of Science in Finance and management from the University of Exeter, a public research university and part of the Russell Group.

I urge you to consider English-speaking countries whenever you are thinking of education abroad, they are among the countries offering several scholarships at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. And even if you do not choose to pursue further studies anywhere else, I urge you to consider mastering English, as a response to our island opening up to the world, just stay curious.

The world is constantly changing and most of the resources we might need, the changes brought upon us will require us to be ready. Accounting and finance jobs are now undergoing changes more than they have ever been. I strongly believe youth in Madagascar has a lot to offer, but that comes with hard work, and you can start now.

Entrepreneuriat…Business… pour une vision AGRI Business.

Nous ne sommes pas sans savoir que l’environnement dans lequel nous vivons est changeant et cela comptons sur plusieurs aspects : professionnel, politique et le classique PESTEL. Classique oui, car il date depuis belle lurette.

Mais pour en revenir à ma thèse première, l’environnement reste changeant est c’est d’ailleurs la seule certitude que nous avons.

Aujourd’hui donc, à l’heure où j’écris, j’aimerai surtout attirer votre attention sur le plus grand des changements opérants dans le plus grand des environnements : l’environnement dans lequel nous vivons. En termes simples : l’environnement dans sa définition première. Retour à la source : la nature.

ELLE SOUFFRE

C’est la voix qui crie depuis le désert.

Quand je parle de nature, lisez-moi bien, je le définis « environnement naturel » dans son sens propre.

Changement climatique et négociations internationales et intergouvernementales au niveau Global s’en suivent. Traités sur traités qui n’aboutissent … pas, et nous devons le dire.

La logique qui s’en suit est d’en savoir la cause ?

On dirait… capitalisme.

Oui, dans un sens, mais nous ne pouvons blâmer personne. Car qu’on se le disent, tout le monde y a un peu mis du sien.

Un peu ? ou beaucoup, c’est selon.

Par contre, le fait est là. Et le changement climatique est un fait, vécu et vu au niveau global.

Est-ce un fait … irréversible ?

La réponse nous appartient. Ma thèse est que si l’on y mettait TOUS la même ardeur à avoir abouti à cette conséquence, la génération future en récoltera les fruits. La génération oui car c’est celle en question.

Heu… pardon, c’est un passé imparfait. Je suggèrerais le présent car le présent nous appartient pour un résultat au futur indicatif.

Je parle au conditionnel, car (note d’humour) tout le monde n’aime pas l’impératif.

Et… pratiquement?

Et bien pratiquement, cela se traduit en termes de positionnement. Pour information, la tendance actuelle est au FAIR Trade pour une Justice Sociale alliant l’homme et son environnement. Cette alliance débouchera pour tous au développement communautaire. Ne sommes-nous pas tous en effet une communauté ?

Deux antithèses pourtant complémentaires

Si le monde du business se définit par compétitivité. Je conclus après soutenance que… celui qui ne sera pas dans le FAIR, se fera absorbé par le marché.

Un changement digne de ce nom mettra du temps à implanter à moins de mobiliser toutes les ressources.

On (impersonnel) aura donc à être … patient.
